“Sailing” Sermon & Worship Services

  • TOCC 3700 Louisiana 59 Mandeville, LA, 70471 United States (map)

"Well it's not far down to paradise, at least it's not for me. And if the wind is right you can sail away and find tranquility. Oh the canvas can do miracles, just you wait and see. Believe me." These are the first words of the beautiful and peaceful song, "Sailing", by Christopher Cross. Remember? Can you hear it in your mind? Can you picture in your mind the peaceful, gentle sailing that Cross envisioned as he wrote this song? What can sailing teach us about the grace of God? Join us and find out! [Hint - it's got nothing to do with the kind of sailing Christopher Cross sings about!]

Louisiana has extended the modified Phase 2 of reopening. Our guidelines will remain the same as stated below. The only item that has changed in reference to places of worship during Phase 2 is capacity limits increase to 50%. Our capacity at 50% is 242 persons. We are still practicing social distancing and cleaning often. We hope you’ll be back soon!

“Then he said to me, My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness. Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.”
