Preparing for tonight's class on Romans. I've always heard that I must love fellow believers, but I needn't necessarily like them, for which I was thankful since many are so unlikable. But in Chapter 12, The Apostle Paul tells me to have brotherly affection for them. I grew up fighting with my brothers, but nothing could ever break the bonds we share. Maybe the same thing applies in my Faith Family.
Are you ready for another “Taste of Rome”? In our Wednesday Night Class last Fall, we enjoyed the “Antipasti” [starter], and the “Primi” [hot dish] courses as we studied Chapters 1 through 8 of Paul’s letter to The Church in Rome. Starting September 11, we will dive right into the “Secondi” [meat and seafood] course, along with the “Contorini” [vegetables] and “Insalata” [salad] courses, before finishing up with the traditional “Dolce” [dessert] course as we try to squeeze in Chapters 9 through 16. Looking forward to seeing and “dining” with you this Fall, and remember: “L’appetito vien mangiando” – “The appetite comes while you are eating!”
The dinner provided at 6pm before our Adult and Children’s Bible Studies begin at 7pm:

Donations of $1.5 for children and $3 for adults will be accepted for our meals.
